Dolce&Gabbana Showroom

The Dolce&Gabbana headquarters is located in Milan, in a former office building from the 1960s characterized by a reinforced concrete load-bearing structure and a glass curtain wall which features an articulated composition of overhanging volumes in teak wood. Consisting of two parallel volumes, six floors above ground and two basement levels, that are developed around an internal courtyard, the building houses showrooms for collections, offices, a restaurant and a series of corporate spaces, for a total of 10,000 square meters.

The intervention enhances the existing volume, emphasizing its valuable features and proposing the use of new linear and elegant forms, sophisticated and natural materials such as lava stone and wood. The fifth floor is entirely dedicated to the corporate area. The double-height outdoor space, covered by a teak wood pergola, houses a garden of volcanic stones that serves as a scenic backdrop for the meeting room.
