Latteria Sociale Valtellina

The redevelopment project of the Latteria Sociale Valtellina is an opportunity to identify a new image to a place that has a strong connection with local tradition and history. The project proposes a reinterpretation of the malga – the type of building belonging to the alpine tradition – with its development in length, a light roofing, a volume on a single floor

Within it there is space for sales, display and work places. A model that leads to the concept of tradition and quality. The large roof extends to cover the outdoor areas and makes them a natural continuation of the interior spaces. This creates a covered plaza that allows passersby a glimpse of what is happening inside, inviting them to stop and visit.
