Gucci Hub

Il progetto di riqualificazione del complesso dell’ex fabbrica Caproni punta alla valorizzazione dei caratteri formali delle architetture industriali, sorte negli anni ’20, per farne il nuovo quartiere generale Gucci. I capannoni dismessi, scanditi da campate strutturali modulari e sovrastati da coperture a shed che portano luce zenitale negli spazi interni, creano attraverso la loro disposizione una continua relazione tra interno ed esterno.

Svettano, all’interno dell’area, il grande volume dell’hangar, che accoglie ora eventi e sfilate, e la nuova torre di 6 piani, concepita per instaurare una forte relazione con i volumi preesistenti. Ritmata da una sequenza di brise-soleil, rompe la simmetria del sito e genera un contrasto cromatico tra le facciate in mattoni degli ex fabbricati produttivi. Tra gli edifici, infine, si articolano percorsi pedonali in un susseguirsi di pieni e vuoti, in cui la vegetazione riveste un ruolo importante.
