Clelia Tower is a residential building which presents a fan positioning of the housing units that enjoy different orientations, benefiting of natural lighting and the best privacy conditions. Inspired by the ancient building traditions of the Mediterranean area, the shape of the building is established by the interaction with nature and the daily journey of the sun in relation to the building area. The starting point is provided by a simple parallelepiped, an organic volume articulated by horizontal and vertical lines and by a vibrant rhythm of solids and voids. Voids define the large open terraces that each apartment is enriched with, they extend the living room and are equipped with infinity pools and planters with lush vegetation, creating hanging gardens with an amazing play of shadows and colors. The Bouganville has been chosen as the main decorative climbing variety and for being a symbol of the Mediterranean climate. The project combines different kind of materials such as stone, wood and large transparent surfaces made of glass; it provides different types of units, fully customizable. Apartments are accessed from a lobby placed on the ground floor, while a garden on the first floor, with the condominium fitness area, marks a visual separation between the ground floor and the residential levels. Commercial activities are located in the other ground floor spaces and enjoy a direct access from the main road.
